WHEN YOU WAKE TO YOUR REPORT CARD...

One year ago today, I said “Yes” to forever.

Looking back, I can only smile at how beautifully God writes stories. If someone had told me years ago that my life would unfold this way, I probably wouldn’t have believed them. Yet here we are, one year later, building a home, raising our beautiful son, learning, growing, laughing, praying, and choosing each other every single day.

This past year has been one of the most life changing seasons of my life. From the final months of pregnancy to welcoming our son into the world, you have loved me in ways that words can hardly capture. You cared for me when my body was tired, encouraged me when I was overwhelmed, celebrated every little milestone, and stood beside me through my C-section recovery and the many adjustments that came with becoming a first time mum. Those are the moments I’ll treasure forever.

Marriage has shown me that love isn’t just in the grand gestures. It’s in the everyday moments, the conversations after long days, the little acts of kindness, the sacrifices, the patience, the teamwork, and knowing that no matter what life brings, we face it together.

Thank you for loving me so intentionally, for making me feel safe, seen, and supported, and for being such an incredible husband and an amazing father to our little Honorable. Watching you be his father has made me admire and love you even more.

We’ve shared so many milestones in just one year, and I know this is only the beginning of everything God has in store for us.

Happy First Wedding Anniversary to us, Ayomi. 🤍

Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, grace, answered prayers, and growing old together.

I still choose you. Today, tomorrow, and always. ❤️
