Justice is free. Injustice costs.

Think about that for a second.

In its purest form, justice requires nothing extra. It is the default alignment of truth and fairness. If a man owns land, and the court declares him the rightful owner based on clear evidence, that is justice. It happens naturally. No money changes hands to make it real. No bribes. No backroom deals. Justice is the baseline, the starting point, the ground floor of a functioning society.

But here's the part nobody talks about:

When the baseline is disturbed, somebody always pays.

When the truth gets flipped.
When the rightful man becomes the "wrong" one in the eyes of the law.
When evidence is ignored, when power buys silence, when the system tilts toward those who can afford to tilt it.

Something must pay for that disturbance.

And it's never the people who caused it.

It's the single mother who spends years in court fighting for a home that was always hers.
It's the small business owner who loses everything because a corporation's lawyers outlasted his savings.
It's the family who watches the guilty walk free while their loved one's name is dragged through the mud.

Injustice doesn't just cost money. It costs time. Dignity. Health. Hope. It costs generations.

The wealthy can buy their way back to the baseline. They can hire the army of attorneys, the expert witnesses, the private investigators. They can afford the delays, the appeals, the system itself.

But for everyone else?

The price of injustice is everything they have.

So when you see someone fighting for "justice," understand: they're not asking for a handout. They're not asking for special treatment. They're asking to return to the baseline. They're asking for what should have been free all along.

And when you see the system resist that return? When you see delays, technicalities, and power protecting power?

That's the price tag. And it's always paid by the wrong people.

Justice is free. That's the whole point.
The moment it isn't, it's no longer justice.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Drop a ๐Ÿ”ฅ if you agree.
๐Ÿ”„ Share if you believe the baseline belongs to everyone.
