African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dissolved its Kano State Executive Committee and inaugurated a Caretaker Committee to manage the party’s affairs pending the election of new executives and the emergence of its governorship candidate. Deputy National Chairman (Northwest), Hajiya Naja’atu Muhammad, said the move was carried out in line with the party’s constitution and the Electoral Act to restore stability and ensure seamless party operations.
The party also confirmed that a committee has been established to resolve the dispute over its governorship ticket between aspirants Ibrahim Little and Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, with a final decision expected soon in compliance with INEC’s guidelines.
