Your Excellency President Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, efcc 240 million Nigerians are writing to you as a deeply concerned Nigerian who, like millions of others, are exhausted by decades of insecurity, corruption, unemployment, and broken promises. The suffering of our people has gone on for far too long, and urgent, decisive action is needed.
First, we demand immediate abolishing across critical national institutions. The NYSC, JAMB, DSS, and the Nigerian Police Force require complete restructuring to serve 240 million Nigerians effectively. The NYSC in particular has lost its purpose, and many Nigerians believe it should be abolished entirely rather than redesigned with cosmetic changes. We do not need new uniforms or slogans we need real jobs, real opportunities, and real security.
Our nation cannot continue ignoring the root causes of Boko Haram and other violent groups. Communities across the North and Middle Belt have suffered unimaginable trauma. Children kidnapped since 1999 have still not been returned. Families are broken. Entire regions live in fear. We demand a national rescue and rehabilitation plan that prioritizes intelligence, technology, and community-based security.
We also demand full transparency regarding the funds allocated for real-time electronic transmission of election results. Why are votes still being hand-counted? Where is the money meant for the machines? For decades, Nigerians have been told these systems exist, yet elections continue without them. This has destroyed public trust in INEC, the courts, EFCC, and political actors across parties.
Today, 240 million Nigerians do not trust the present or past governments, opposition parties, independent candidates, or institutions meant to protect democracy. This crisis of confidence is national and undeniable.
We call on you to take responsibility. In the United Kingdom, Prime Ministers have resigned for far less. Nigerians are demanding accountability, transparency, and competence from their leaders.
We demand:
Abolition of NYSC and creation of real employment programs.
Free education, free housing, and free healthcare for all citizens.
Massive investment in farming across all 36 states and 774 LGAs.
Nationwide deployment of drones and CCTV cameras.
Mandatory police body cameras.
Free electricity, free WiFi, and free mobile data as promised during campaigns.
These are not luxuries. These are basic requirements for a modern nation.
Nigeria deserves a government that listens, acts, and delivers. We urge you to take these demands seriously and respond with concrete actions, not slogans/lies
