The 32km Sango-Ijoko-Agbado-Ojodu road—a critical Ogun-Lagos border corridor—has suffered intermittent stalling and abandonment since it was originally flagged off in 2013. While parts of the road and bridges were constructed, massive sections remain uncompleted, causing extreme hardship and gridlock for commuters.

Public Outcry: Border residents—spanning from Ojodu, Alagbole, through Akute, Oke-Aro, Agbado, and Ijoko—frequently use community platforms to lament the lack of basic infrastructure, safety risks, and lost economic value.

Commuter Strain: Due to the unmotorable state of the road, residents commuting to Lagos have to leave as early as 3:00 a.m. to beat traffic, or abandon personal vehicles for motorcycles (Okada).
