I haven't designed anything in a while.
Not because I forgot how... AI just showed up like that one colleague who finishes the entire group project before you've even opened your laptop. 😂
Things that used to take hours—or even days—now happen in seconds. I'll admit, it stole a bit of the joy for me. I found myself wondering, "What's the point?"
Then this weekend, I decided to ignore the existential crisis and just create.
I modeled the bottle in Blender, designed the label in Photoshop, and rendered everything in KeyShot. Somewhere between the countless clicks and the final render, I remembered something: the joy was never just in finishing the work. It was in creating it.
AI can generate images. It can't replace the satisfaction of making something that started as an idea in your own head.
So if you've stopped doing something you once loved because the world changed, this is your sign to pick it up again. Your passion deserves better than an early retirement. 😉
