Before You Pay Any Designer, Read This‼️
Many business owners assume that once they pay for a logo, website, brand design, or content, they automatically own it. Legally, that is not always the case.
Payment for creative work does not automatically transfer the intellectual property rights to you.
Unless there is a clear agreement assigning those rights, the creator may still own them.
That can create problems later, especially if you want to register your trademark, rebrand, sell your business, or use the work in new ways.
Before you make payment, make sure your agreement clearly states who owns the intellectual property after the work is completed.
Protect your business from the start.
📌Don't wait until ownership becomes a dispute.
