The video you are seeing is the current state of just a portion of the road linking Ankpa local government Headquarters in Kogi state to Abejukolo,Headquarters of Omala local government Area also in kogi state.
This place is precisely a village called Enabo.
The stretch of this road is about 48 kilometres. The last time this road was constructed was during the administration of former governor Ibrahim idris, which never outlived that administration because of its poor execution by the contractor. Fast forward to Governor Yahaya Bello's administration. He started the construction and stopped at a village called Ejegbo. He abandoned it until he left the office.
All leaders of thoughts, including traditional rulers, visited Him and the current governor,Ahmed Usman Ododo, appealing to them construct this road, they have refused or using it for politics.
Now, this road is where is linked to the sites of coal deposits in kogi state.
Over 200 trailers and other articulated vehicles move out of the place every day with an estimated revenue of over 100m daily.
The state government is punishing the people of the area because, according to them, the people of the local government voted for Muri Ajaka, the gubernatorial candidate of SDP, in the last election. To lend credence and buttress the point, Ankpa local government is the only local government in kogi state where the state government refused to appoint a commissioner to represent the council in state exco due to same offence.
As a result of this, insecurity and environmental issues have resurfaced in that area.

Please, we need federal government attention in this Area , the governor and His predecessor, Yahaya Bello, are vindictive in a free and fair election in kogi state today, both Yahaya Bello and the incumbent will not win any election.
We are relying on Arise, Ojy, Rufai, and Ayo to highlight these issues during the station breakfast show.

The last time they had light was 18 years ago....send your team to conduct a discreet invest...
