The governor vowed to strengthen security through intensified forest operations and border patrols. Meanwhile, Operation Hadin Kai rescued six more abducted Lassa school victims, while the military disclosed that troops conducted over 14,200 operations in the first half of 2026, killing 1,597 criminals and rescuing 1,516 hostages nationwide.
