FIRST AID

An adult collapses in front of you and is unresponsive. You tap their shoulders and call out, but there is no response. What do you do first?

A. Tilt his/her head back immediately and begin rescue breaths. Airways must be opened first.

B. Call for emergency help immediately (or shout for someone to call 112 or nearby hospital) and check if he/she is breathing normally.

C. Start chest compression immediately without checking anything else as acting fast saves lives.

D. Place the him/her in the recovery position immediately, this prevents choking if they are unconscious.
