Virtually all the states have their own different vigilante groups and task forces for security. These groups can be converted with formal training by the Nigerian Police, to create clear distinctions from the duties of the federal police and the state police, this process will take time.

Ayodotun: Is it right to say also that not all state have the capacity to receive security allocation in cash. If you don't realize the danger of failing to secure your state internal borders and the forest, you have no business running for office in any state in Nigeria.
