Xenophobic Attacks: The Nigerian Government Should Pursue Justice Through South Africa’s Legal System - Ogunye

The Nigerian government should strengthen the Nigerian High Commission in South Africa and establish a panel of lawyers and other experts, both in Nigeria and abroad, to challenge these actions through South Africa’s own legal and constitutional processes. The challenge should address the threatened confiscation of property, the legality of the actions being taken, and the alleged human rights abuses against Nigerian nationals.
