"YOU CAN'T KILL ME": Cristiano Ronaldo fires back at retirement questions before Spain clash

Speaking ahead of Portugal’s massive Round of 16 showdown against Spain, a defiant 41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo blasted critics asking about his retirement.

"You have been trying to kill me for the past 23 years, but it's a waste of time," the all-time international top scorer said, insisting he will retire strictly on his own terms: "I will stop when I choose, not when you choose."
