KNOW WHEN TO SPEAK UP |

๐Ÿ“– PROVERBS 26:4-5 (ESV)
Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him. ANSWER A FOOL ACCORDING TO HIS FOLLY, OR HE WILL BE WISE IN HIS OWN EYES.

There is a popular saying that "silence is the best answer to a fool." While there are moments when silence reflects wisdom, it is not a principle that applies to every situation.

The Bible teaches that there is a time to keep silence and a time to speak.

Remaining silent when God expects you to speak can expose you to manipulation, oppression, injustice, and unnecessary loss.

There are battles that are not won by keeping quiet but by speaking with wisdom, courage, and truth.

Not everyone who misunderstands or opposes you deserves your silence.

Sometimes, if you refuse to respond appropriately, people will redefine your silence as weakness and take advantage of you.

As a child of God, ask the Holy Spirit for discernment to know when to remain silent and when to rise and speak.

Never suppress your voice where righteousness, truth, justice, or your God-given purpose demands that you speak.

Your voice is one of the instruments God has given you to preserve your destiny.

May the Lord grant you the wisdom to discern the right time to speak and the right time to remain silent in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
