Beyoncé released a surprise single "MORNING DEW (DONK)". Co-produced by Beyoncé and Pharrell Williams, the track blends 90s R&B vibes with her signature vocal layering.

According to a press release, the song is “a direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of B’Day“; the “Morning Dew (Donk)” release marks the official start of a 60-day countdown to the 20th anniversary of Beyoncé’s second album B’Day, released September 4, 2006. (September 4th also happens to be Beyoncé’s actual birthday.)
