๐จ OPAY USERS, TAKE NOTE! NEW SECURITY UPDATE DON LAND! ๐๐ฐ
If you use OPay, this update fit save your money one day. ๐
๐ก๏ธ OPay has introduced a new feature called "Safety PIN."
If you're ever forced to transfer money under pressure or in an emergency, this feature can help protect your funds.
โ
How it works:
When you're about to confirm a transfer, enter your Safety PIN instead of your normal transaction PIN.
According to OPay, the feature is designed to lock your account for extra protection, preventing unauthorized access to your funds. After using it, you'll need to verify your identity to unlock the account, and some actions may remain restricted for a period afterward.
๐ฒ How to set it up:
1๏ธโฃ Open your OPay app.
2๏ธโฃ Tap Me (bottom-right corner).
3๏ธโฃ Select Security Centre.
4๏ธโฃ Tap Safety PIN and complete the setup.
โ ๏ธ Important:
๐น This feature is meant for genuine emergency situations.
๐น If armed criminals are threatening your life, always prioritize your safety. No amount of money is worth your life.
๐น Business owners should continue to confirm that payments have actually been received before releasing goods or services.
