Ondo Finance is pushing tokenized stocks deeper into regulated markets.

The company launched Ethereum-based versions of BlackRock’s iShares Core S&P 500 ETF and Micron shares, using a structure aligned with the SEC’s third-party custodial model.

The setup keeps the underlying securities inside the traditional U.S. custody system, while issuing one-for-one tokenized entitlements onchain. Broadridge will support proxy voting, disclosures and shareholder communications, giving token holders governance rights similar to traditional investors.

The product is not yet available to U.S. investors, but the signal is important.
