A senior executive over three days receives calls from an unknown number asking for his schedule, preferred hotel, and vehicle description. The caller claims to be from a partner organisation responsible for receiving him at the conference location.

How do you assess and respond?

A. Call the number back to verify who they are before taking any protective action.
B. Inform the executives PA to stop answering unknown calls and continue the schedule as planned.
C. Treat it as pre-attack surveillance, brief your security team, change the planned itinerary, and verify the partner organisation through official channels and not the number that has been calling
D. Report the incident to the police immediately for possible tracking and investigation, while you cancel all travel plans until full investigation is complete.
