Your Excellencies President Tinubu, courts, efcc, opposition parties, independent candidates 240 million Nigerians are writing to you as concerned Nigerian who is deeply troubled by the growing public perception that justice in our country is unevenly applied. The recent EFCC case involving Mbah Chidinma Sophina has sparked widespread debate, not because Nigerians support fraud, but because many believe that 240 million Nigerians are prosecuted swiftly while politically connected individuals face zero accountability.

Multiple official investigations by the Presidency, DSS, and Nigeria Police Force have already confirmed that the allegations circulating online against Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila originated from an impostor who forged documents, created a fake agency, and impersonated government officials. These findings are clear, and Nigerians accept them. However, the global reaction and domestic frustration stem from the belief that high-profile corruption cases rarely result in arrests or convictions.

Respectfully sir, Nigerians are demanding for fairness. They are demanding for consistency. They are demanding for a justice system that does not appear to punish the powerless while shielding the powerful.

We respectfully request the following:

That the EFCC, courts, and relevant agencies demonstrate equal seriousness in prosecuting corruption cases involving public officials.

That no Nigerian be jailed, harmed, or intimidated for exercising freedom of speech.

That the case of Mbah Chidinma Sophina be released and be allowed to go home with transparency, fairness, and respect for her legal rights. The USA, EU 195 countries have been watching the Nigerian govt, courts, efcc for decades no country/leaders are perfect Nigerian govt can do better do the needful stop being a global joke/embarrassment with all due respect sirs/madams

Nigeria’s reputation matters. The world is watching, and Nigerians at home and abroad are demanding for leadership that strengthens trust in our institutions.

Thank you for your attention to these concerns.
