Instead of relying mainly on press briefings, the government should consider partnering with Nollywood to tell compelling stories that educate, inspire, and unite Nigerians.

Films and TV series can shape minds far more effectively than speeches. They can promote patriotism, civic responsibility, national unity and even raise awareness about security and other important issues.

The key is simple: support Nollywood without controlling it. Let filmmakers keep their creative independence while collaborating on projects that serve the public interest.

A partnership built on trust, not propaganda, could benefit both Nigeria and one of its greatest cultural exports.
