A member of your field team has been kidnapped while travelling between two programme sites. You have just been notified. What are your first three actions in the correct order?

A. Secure your remaining team members first, activate your kidnap response protocol, and notify your security coordinator and country director simultaneously. Do not communicate with any media.
B. Call the police immediately, then call the kidnapped victim's family, then notify your HQ about the situation.
C. Begin negotiating with the kidnappers immediately to establish contact and secure an early release.
D. Search the last known route immediately with all available staff and vehicles while calling for help.
