It can design recommendation systems that do not bury educational content beneath endless sensationalism. It can reward creators who explain science as much as those who create comedy, elevate investigative journalism alongside entertainment, and ensure that educators, researchers, innovators and thoughtful storytellers are not pushed to the margins in the pursuit of engagement.
