What repetitive bookkeeping task wastes the most time in your business?
One thing we've discovered while building TaxMateNG is that the hardest part of bookkeeping usually isn't the calculations.
It's entering the same information over and over again.
Take a simple example.
A business buys a generator or a delivery van.
The purchase is recorded.
Then someone enters it again into the Asset Register.
Later they calculate capital allowances.
Later they update the net book value.
Eventually they record the disposal.
One business event.
Multiple manual entries.
That made us ask a simple question:
Should bookkeeping software still work this way?
One of the features we recently introduced in TaxMateNG automatically synchronizes eligible capital purchases from the transaction ledger into the Asset Register. It removes duplicate data entry while keeping bookkeeping and asset management connected.
That solved one problem.
But it also raised another question.
If you could eliminate ONE repetitive bookkeeping task from your business forever, what would it be?
• Recording expenses?
• Bank reconciliation?
• Inventory updates?
• Tracking customers who owe money?
• Payroll?
• Something else?
We're constantly improving TaxMateNG, and many of our best ideas come from conversations like these—not from sitting in front of a whiteboard.
I'd genuinely love to hear what consumes the most time in your workflow.
🎥 I've attached a short walkthrough of the latest update.
