Your Excellency President Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates, courts,efcc 240 million Nigerians are writing to you out of deep concern for the state of governance in Nigeria and the growing erosion of public trust. The recent allegations involving your Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the reported ₦400 million bribery scandal have shaken the confidence of millions of Nigerians who expect transparency and accountability from those in positions of power.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has publicly called for a thorough and independent investigation into this matter. His statement highlights a troubling credibility gap created by the denial of the PFIP’s existence, and many Nigerians share the sentiment that this issue cannot be brushed aside.

Nigeria has witnessed far too many corruption scandals that fade without consequence. Our institutions—courts, EFCC, and other agencies—have repeatedly failed to deliver justice when politically powerful individuals are involved. This pattern has left citizens feeling abandoned and unheard.

In countries like the United Kingdom, leaders have resigned when faced with breaches of trust, corruption, or dishonesty. Such actions demonstrate respect for democratic values and the people they serve. Nigeria deserves the same standard of leadership.

Respectfully sir we demand on you to consider stepping down honorably to allow for a transparent process that restores confidence in the presidency. Additionally, we urge the international community—the USA, EU, and other nations—to ensure that corrupt politicians and their families who siphon Nigerian tax money and hide abroad are held accountable. Nigerians cannot continue to suffer while public funds are diverted for personal gain.

240 million Nigerians are struggling, being told to survive on akara and roasted corn, while public resources are allegedly funneled into private pockets. This is unacceptable. We demand the return of stolen funds and the prosecution of all individuals involved. If Nigerian institutions fail to act, we believe the international community must step in to uphold justice.

Nigeria’s 240 million citizens deserve leadership rooted in integrity, accountability, and service—not impunity.
