Dangote Group has announced plans to invest an additional $46 billion between 2026 and 2028 across its refining, cement and fertiliser businesses, accelerating its push to drive Africa’s industrialisation. The expansion will lift its refining capacity to 2.1 million barrels per day, with 1.4 million bpd in Nigeria and a proposed 700,000 bpd refinery in Kenya serving East Africa.
