Looks like South Africa is founded on or at least sustained by discrimination.
First it was the white minority who discriminated against the black majority through the obnoxious policy of apartheid.

With the end of apartheid emerges the equally objectionable xenophobic discrimination by the indigenous blacks against immigrant blacks.

Who knows, some other forms of discrimination are likely to surface within the polity after the black migrants leave. Perhaps gender, age or class based.
