🇳🇬🪖TROOPS FOIL LIVESTOCK RUSTLING, RECOVER STOLEN ANIMALS IN KATSINA

Troops of 17 Brigade, Sector 2 under Operation FANSAN YAMMA, in collaboration with the Katsina State Community Watch Corps, have recorded another success.

Following credible intelligence and an alarm from residents, the joint team ambushed armed terrorists attempting to move a large herd of rustled livestock in Charanchi LGA.

A fierce gun battle broke out at Sabari Reraya Village. The troops overwhelmed the criminals with superior firepower, forcing them to abandon the animals and flee into the bush.

The recovered livestock is being secured and will be returned to the rightful owners.

This is part of ongoing efforts to protect rural communities and their means of livelihood in the North-West.
