🇳🇬🪖 NIGERIAN ARMY BOOSTS TRAINING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ENHANCED READINESS

The Nigerian Army is steadily strengthening its training facilities to improve the combat effectiveness and operational readiness of its personnel.

On Tuesday, 30 June 2026, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, commissioned newly constructed hostel blocks at the 3 Division Training School and Shooting Range in Miango, Plateau State.

The COAS noted that these facilities will provide a better learning environment for officers and soldiers, describing training as the bedrock of the Army’s operational success.

He reaffirmed his Soldier First philosophy, emphasising that investing in personnel welfare and professional development is key to building a motivated and capable force.

Lt Gen Shaibu commended the General Officer Commanding 3 Division, Major General Folusho Oyinlola, for the initiative and effective resource management.

This is a serious commitment to capacity building.
