🚨 SOUTH AFRICA MUST REMEMBER: AFRICA STOOD WITH YOU DURING APARTHEID πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ€πŸŒ

The recent reports of xenophobic attacks, destruction of businesses, looting of shops, and violence against fellow Africans in South Africa are heartbreaking and unacceptable. πŸ’”

Many seem to have forgotten history.

During the dark days of Apartheid, African nations stood firmly with South Africa. Countries across the continent provided refuge, support, resources, and solidarity to help South Africans in their struggle for freedom and justice. Africans saw the suffering of South Africa as a shared African burden.

Today, it is painful to see fellow Africans being attacked simply because they come from another African country. Whether Nigerian, Zimbabwean, Ethiopian, Somali, Mozambican, or from anywhere else on the continent, every African deserves dignity, safety, and respect. ✊🏾

The vision of a united Africa cannot survive where hatred, discrimination, and violence are allowed to flourish.

The legacy of Nelson Mandela was built on reconciliation, unity, and human dignityβ€”not division and hostility toward fellow Africans.

No economic hardship, political frustration, or social challenge can justify attacking innocent people, destroying livelihoods, or taking lives. ❌

🌍 Africa belongs to all Africans.

🀝 We rise together.
🀝 We prosper together.
🀝 We must protect one another.

Let us reject xenophobia and embrace the spirit of African brotherhood. When one African is attacked because of nationality, the entire continent is wounded.

❓ Do you think African governments are doing enough to promote unity and protect Africans living in other African countries? Share your thoughts below.
