Supporting Statement Mistakes.
NHS supporting statements are scored against the person specification using a weighted criteria grid. Common mistakes: writing generally rather than giving a specific evidenced example; missing one or more essential criteria entirely; using overseas job titles without NHS-equivalent translation; passive voice that obscures who did what; opening with "I am writing to express my interest" rather than substance.
Several NHS Trusts now use AI-detection software on applications. Statements that read as generic or AI-generated are treated as such.
DM me STATEMENT if you want your supporting statement rebuilt and mapped to a specific person specification.
