The Federal Government will officially launch the Digital National Education Management Information System (DNEMIS) on July 1, 2026, after enrolling more than 32 million students on the platform. Designed to modernise education governance, the system will provide real-time data on students, schools and teachers to improve planning, budgeting, policy decisions and learning outcomes. Officials say DNEMIS will help identify learning gaps, track students throughout their education, reduce wasteful spending and strengthen accountability. The government also assured Nigerians that the platform complies with national data protection laws and global security standards, with safeguards in place to protect sensitive personal information.
