President Bola Tinubu has commissioned the newly rehabilitated and expanded Karu road network in Abuja, describing the project as a major investment in economic growth, improved mobility and better living standards. Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, the president said the roads, alongside solar-powered streetlights, drainage systems and walkways, reflect his administration’s commitment to easing traffic congestion, boosting commerce and enhancing security under the Renewed Hope Agenda. Tinubu praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for driving Abuja’s urban renewal programme and urged residents to protect the infrastructure from vandalism and misuse to ensure lasting community and economic benefits.
