President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated eight federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and the National Population Commission (NPC) ahead of the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja. The appointments include two commissioners for RMAFC and six for the NPC, bringing together professionals with backgrounds in law, public administration, academia, immigration, governance and public service. The newly sworn-in officials are expected to strengthen the capacity of both institutions, which play critical roles in revenue allocation, fiscal management and population administration—key pillars for national planning, economic development and effective public policy.
