Only those who have dedicated their lives to seeking the truth and understanding true justice are fit to govern.The SHIP OF STATE: Plato used a metaphor of a ship to explain this. The populace is the ship owner, while the politicians are quarreling sailors trying to seize the helm without understanding navigation. The true philosopher is the "navigator" who actually knows how to steer the state, despite being ignored by the crew...... A CLASSICAL OPPOSITE OF APC
