Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr. was a Black pastor who refused to support the bad government of his day that oppressed his people. He fought injustice with the Bible, saying 'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.'
Why then do some pastors support or stay silent on the bad governance destroying our own people here in Nigeria — the corruption, poverty, insecurity and suffering,The same God who used King to fight for justice expects Nigerian pastors to speak truth to power, not defend it.
