For Mr Sunday Dare or anyone else to argue that because their parents sold kuli kuli , Banana or akara about 50 or 60 years ago to educate them, it is still the right form of economic empowerment for this time is appalyingly disgraceful for several reasons:

1. It means they failed to realise the constantly evolving nature of life and societies which needs consistent adjustments to be capable of meeting current needs.

2, It means their education failed to achieve its core goals, part of which is to improve the self and uplift the immediate society.

3. Importantly, it exemplies how the political class view their fellow countrymen and women. It is to feed them crumbs and perpetuate their socio-economic stagnation aimed at making them remain sub-servient to be thrown some bread, agbado and grains of rice every electoral cycle.
A seismic change is needed, if we are to make any socio-economic progress as a country.
