Forgiveness is the quiet key that unlocketh the prison of resentment and alloweth love to flow freely once more. He who useth it wisely preserveth the sacred bond between souls.

Yet the one who harps endlessly upon the transgression, refusing to let the wound close, buildeth walls of separation that even time struggles to tear down. In clinging to the offence, he loseth not only the friend, but a piece of his own peace.
