Crypto critic Nouriel Roubini is entering tokenization.

The economist known as “Dr. Doom” is backing USAFi, a tokenized security linked to the Nasdaq-listed Atlas America Fund, an ETF he oversees.

The product is designed to give investors blockchain-based exposure to real-world assets like U.S. Treasuries, real estate, gold and agricultural commodities. Atlas plans to launch it under Dubai’s VARA framework, with Securitize providing tokenization infrastructure.

The key point: Roubini is not endorsing speculative crypto.

He is backing regulated tokenization of real assets - another sign that the RWA narrative is moving deeper into traditional finance.
