REVELATIONS, VISIONS, AND IDEAS

Text: “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3

The place of prayer is not a place of religious routines. If we are not careful, prayer can become so religious that it loses its value in our lives. For so many prayer is another burden that must be avoided. This is basically because they have not really accessed the privileges that exist in the place of prayer.

The place of prayer is a place of revelation, visions, and ideas. If prayer is properly understood and exercised, it will culminate in the unfolding of divine agendas in our lives. This will go a long way to help us, not to live our lives on an experimental basis but on precision. Jesus was a man of prayer who usually went to the mountain to pray and during the day, would still be confronted with diverse challenges. The scriptures reveal to us that, He always knew what to do. He was never confused about what steps to take and what to do next. I strongly believe that prayer should bring us to the same point.
It therefore means that, each time we pray, we should be expectant to receive a specific direction concerning our lives. Don’t just pray and rush out of the place; spend time in quietness waiting for that divine prompting on your inside.

This will also entail that; we make specific enquiries in the course of praying. Instead of asking God to do something, it may be required that we are the ones to do something.
On several occasions, David had to go to God in prayer to receive specific direction for his life. He never lost a battle because, the steps he took were divinely orchestrated. He took time out in prayer before setting out for any battle. In facing the issues of life, nothing must be done based on assumption. We must have clear directions on every step we seek to take. The place of prayer gives us this privilege.

*PRAYER:*
Lord show me what do to and the steps to take concerning this issue of my life (Be specific).
