Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun have praised security agencies for the successes recorded under Operation Kosaye, a joint Ogun-Lagos security initiative created by Inspector-General of Police Tunji Disu. The coordinated operation has led to 88 arrests, the rescue of five kidnap victims, the recovery of weapons and ammunition, and the deaths of four suspected criminals during gun battles with operatives. Both governors described the intelligence-driven operation as a major boost to public safety, pledging continued support for law enforcement while urging residents to provide credible information to help combat crime.
