This 'work' has been on my mind for some time now, but I haven't been able to do anything concrete because these days, my thoughts are way too fast than my fingers.

‎However, with the recent stories about wicked aunties, uncles, relatives or even grandparents, (as shared by, omobolanle) flying all over, I think it's time we start talking.

‎The Yoruba will say, 'Omode ana, ni Agbalagba oni', meaning 'yesterday's children are today's adults'. One way or the other, we all are products of our backgrounds. While some people are fortunate to come out of their trauma and live a whole life, many are not that fortunate.

‎Hence, the need for everyone of us to be careful and know that, a child when not properly handled, can crack or even break like an an egg. The effects of this is what we are seeing all around. That's why we'll continue to see the menace of adults inflicting so much unprintable pains on children.

‎The time is now! Who will speak for that child beside you? They are watching, and whatever you do to them, they don't forget.

Who is ready to join me on this journey? @highlight
