Meekness is not weakness. It is "strength under control" a powerful, humble spirit that prioritizes trusting God's sovereignty over fighting for personal rights or retaliation. As a fruit of the Spirit, it defines a believer's posture toward God and others. Rather than demanding justice or taking matters into your own hands, a meek believer yields their defense and future to God. Meekness does not mean being a doormat, but rather choosing gentleness and patience instead of pride or self-assertion.
