GOD EXPECTS MULTIPLICATION!
Text: “For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.” Matthew 25:14
This account clearly shows us how the kingdom of God operates and functions. This man gave his goods to the servants. He did not really tell them specifically what to do with them. But even at that, he had an expectation in mind. He came back after a while, and demanded that each of the servants give an account of what they were given.
It is so important that, we all realise that God has given us talents, gifts, privileges and opportunities in life. The servants were not given the same number of goods, but all the same, each person had something. The beauty of it is that, they were not required to give an account for what they were not given. The man that was given one, was not asked to account for more than what he was given. But unfortunately, he could not account for it. It literally means that, even if he was given more than that he would not have done anything meaningful with it.
God has deposited so much in all of us and He expects that, we identify, develop and engage whatever He has given us, for the profit of His kingdom and humanity at large. It is such a grievous offense to keep or abuse what He has given us.
Everything you have and everything you are, is given on purpose. God expects us to multiply them. Even after we have identified that unique thing that God has given us, we must ensure that it does not remain just at the potential stage but to a point of growth and profitability. Instead of asking God to give you more, why not develop the one He already gave you. We can develop whatever God has given us to whatever degree of profitability that we desire.
You may not know how to sing, write or preach like someone you admire, but there is something unique that God has given you; identify it and develop it.
PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus I declare that the gift of God in me is identified and developed to profitability.
