Chelsea want Granit Xhaka but Sunderland aren't selling.

Xabi Alonso is pushing to reunite with the midfielder after two seasons together at Bayer Leverkusen, and Xhaka is keen on a move to west London. However, Sunderland have no intention of letting him go, with the 33-year-old under contract until 2028 and central to their plans.

Chelsea's reluctance to pay a significant fee for a player who turns 34 later this year adds another complication.
