People always "come for" anyone who says food business is real work. But the truth is exactly what you said:

*Someone has to do it, because most people won’t.*

*1. Akara, Kuli-Kuli, Roasted Corn = Real Economy*
Most 9-5 people in Lagos, Abuja, PH don’t have time to soak beans at 5am, fry akara in hot oil, roast corn by roadside smoke, or pound groundnuts for kuli-kuli. They’ll outsource it before 7am and call it “easy meals”.
That outsourcing is someone’s salary, someone’s rent, someone’s school fees.

*2. “If everyone is rich, everyone will eventually die of hunger”*
Harsh but real. If nobody is frying, roasting, hawking, farming, cooking... who’s feeding the “rich” CEOs in traffic? Money can’t eat itself.
Every society needs people doing the hands-on, sweaty, daily work that keeps others alive. Dignity is in the work, not the title.

*3. Why people drag her for it*
Because we’ve been taught to shame “street hustle” and worship only office jobs. But akara money has sent more children to school than some white-collar salaries. Kuli-kuli has built houses.

So let them come , she has said the facts. Food is non-negotiable. And the people selling it are the ones keeping the city running before 9am.
