I want to say firstly that I love the morning show and most especially, what’s trending, especially when being hosted by @ojyokpe. I live in the diaspora and see it as an opportunity to assimilate news from the Nigerian stables.

In recent times, I have had a few concern, the first was when @ojyokpe at the beginning of a recent what’s trending show stated categorically that the government was doing nothing about the insecurity in the country. I suppose as a journalist ‘it seems like’ would have preceded that statement because you are not sure, as it’s a security situation which usually, governments do like to discuss publicly.

Another issue is the piece of news you brought to light yesterday about a pastor being arrested in Orire for facilitating the abduction of the school children and teachers, which after personal investigation turned out to be false news.

This are highly embarrassing situation that could have been avoided if proper protocols were followed. Verify all news and languages before airing.

Like I said earlier. I love your show hence, this piece of criticism. I hope going fwd our great show would air better and quality news. Thank you.
