God is holy, and He calls His children to reflect His nature. Hebrews 12:14 reminds us, "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord." Holiness is not about looking good before people; it is about living a life that pleases God every day. True righteousness begins in the heart and is seen in our words, choices, and actions. As 1 Peter 1:15–16 says, "Be holy in all you do, for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'" God's standard never changes because His nature never changes. Holiness is not a burden—it is a beautiful journey of becoming more like Christ. When we walk with God, He shapes our character, purifies our hearts, and teaches us to love what is right. Psalm 24:3–4 asks, "Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?... The one who has clean hands and a pure heart." Choose righteousness even when it is difficult. Choose holiness even when no one is watching. A holy life shines brightly in a dark world and points others to Christ.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, give me a pure heart and a holy nature. Help me to reflect Your character in all I do. May my life bring glory to You daily in Jesus Christ name.... Amen.
