"I once seized one of my keke from a rider who defaulted and kept it in my custody. I needed to take it home and park it in my compound.

On my way home, my wife called the kids said they wanted pizza. So I drove down to Kilimanjaro to get one.

Now, the security men at that place used to greet me “sir, sir” every time I came through. But this day, driving a keke, the same man couldn’t recognise me. And he treated me like a piece of nothing.

What shocked me most: a man in an ML pulled in the same time as me. Security told me there was no space to park then turned around and gave the ML guy space.

I didn’t get angry. I simply went somewhere, parked my keke, and walked in on foot.

Now here’s God’s sense of humour. The same man in the ML happened to be someone I know. He saw me, greeted me warmly, and his wife who follows me on Facebook lit up and said she wanted to take pictures with me.

So there I am, taking photos with them. And this same security man is just standing there, watching the whole thing.

I went in, collected my pizza, and as I was leaving, the man opened his mouth and said: “Senior man, anything for us?”

What I told him that day, I’m not sure he will ever forget in his life.

The people who worship money the most are usually the ones who need help the most. Until we decanter money we are still far."
