Urgent Call for Comprehensive Education Reform, Anti‑Corruption Action, and National Security Accountability
Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, efcc 240 million Nigerians are
writing as a concerned Nigerian citizen who believes deeply in the future of our country and the urgent need for bold, people‑centered reforms. For decades, Nigerians have demanded one fundamental change that every serious nation prioritizes free and compulsory education from primary school to the PhD level across all 36 states 774 LGA
Nigeria is a wealthy nation on paper and GDP, yet millions of children remain out of school, and generations of leaders have allowed public funds to be mismanaged instead of being invested in human capital. This cycle has weakened our economy, deepened poverty, and contributed to insecurity nationwide.
Respectfully Mr. President, Nigerians expect your administration to break this pattern — not repeat it.
1. Make Education Free Nationwide in the 36 states 774 LGA
Nigeria cannot progress while millions of children remain out of school. We demand you to:
Implement free, compulsory education from primary to tertiary levels.
Provide student stipends so young Nigerians can focus on learning rather than survival.
Invest massively in teachers, infrastructure, and modern learning tools.
Education is the foundation of national security, economic growth, and social stability.
2. Take Decisive Action Against Corruption
For decades, public officials have diverted tax revenues meant for development. Nigerians demand:
Full investigations of all politicians accused of corruption.
Seizure of stolen assets and revocation of passports where appropriate.
Strengthening of the EFCC and judiciary to ensure accountability.
Corruption is the root cause of unemployment, insecurity, and underdevelopment.
3. Address Insecurity at Its Roots
Communities across Nigeria continue to suffer from kidnappings, banditry, and terrorism. We call for:
Rescue and rehabilitation of all kidnapped Nigerians, including children taken since the 1990s.
Investment in agriculture to reduce hunger and economic desperation.
State police with strict safeguards, including body cameras, CCTV, and drones in all 36 states and 774 LGAs.
Clear rules preventing governors or officials from using security forces to suppress 240 million Nigerians peaceful protest and free speech.
Security must protect 240 million Nigerians, not intimidate them.
4. Deliver on Promised Social and Economic Reforms
Nigerians continue to face:
Unreliable electricity
High cost of living
Limited job opportunities
Lack of digital access
We urge your administration to:
Expand power generation and reduce electricity costs.
Support job creation through industry, technology, and agriculture.
Improve digital access, including affordable data and public Wi‑Fi where feasible.
5. Lead With Transparency and Service
Public office is a responsibility, not a privilege. Nigerians expect leadership that prioritizes national welfare over political ambition. We demand you to:
Reduce the cost of governance.
Increase transparency in budgeting and spending.
Demonstrate commitment to public service through policies that uplift all 240 million Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA
Nigeria stands at a crossroads. The decisions made now will determine whether our nation rises or continues to struggle. We demand you to act with urgency, courage, and integrity.
The Nigerian people deserve a government that works for them. Not for corrupt politicians respectfully no country /leaders are perfect Nigerian govt, opposition parties, independent candidates, efcc, courts can do better if you are serious no lies no slogans
