I have to confess that I'm a bit of a history nerd.
I've always found it fascinating and now more and more insightful into current events.
But sometimes its just the sheer wonder at the discovery of something ancient.
I remember seeing this project featured on TV a couple of years ago and thinking how amazing it would be to unlock this carbonised library from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius nearly 2,000 year's ago.
